Chicago, IL | players Wow, I'm flabbergasted by the still high price of blu ray players. I hadn't checked for a while. I'm lucky because I picked up a PS3 last BF for a good price. The pricing structure for Blu ray dvs's needs to be revisited-why do I pay more to buy or rent a movie that's been mastered on blu ray when there's no extra content? for the difference I'll just let the PS3 upscale a regular dvd for me. |

| said by rmdir:Wow, I'm flabbergasted by the still high price of blu ray players. The prices are sub $200 now. i just picked up from Amazon.com the BD-P1500 for $228 with the Blu-Ray Matrix box set free. I was gonna buy the box set anyway, so the player comes out to $150. Not too bad. |
