kudos:3 | DOCSIS 3 FEATURES need new HARDWARE, a simple modem firmware upgrade won't do it.
A DOCSIS 2.0 modem will work fine on a DOCSIS 3.0 system if you don't need any of the new DOCSIS 3 features like IPv6, channel bonding, increased security, better diagnostics, etc. |
