If you have IE 7, to fixed this, add »m.www.yahoo.com/ to your blocked site. After wards when you go on yahoo, it will go back to the orginal layout. Afterwards, remove »m.www.yahoo.com/ from your blocked site, and it wont appear again. |

@acelerate.net | reply to CUBS_FAN I am experiencing the same thing - no matter what I do I keep getting redirected to this weird m.www.yahoo.com
At work I have a mac and I don't have the problem there, nor does my husband who has a PC. |

| reply to andiamo What you're being redirected to is the yahoo mobile device home page. I'm using a netbook (Acer Aspire One) and for some reason i was being redirected to the mobile site as well. Somehow yahoo randomly picks up certain devices are mobile and sets a cookie or temp file that automatically redirects to the mobile site. if you clear all your cookies and temp internet files it should revert back to www.yahoo.com |

| reply to CUBS_FAN I had yahoo set to my homepage on both firefox, and ie. I was able to block m.www.yahoo.com in IE, but not in firefox. I downloaded a couple of blockers, but they wont allow the old yahoo website on either, so that was a waste of time. One of the posts suggested using 209.131.36.158 in the address bar-guess what, that worked! Thanks man! I set my homepage in firefox to that address, and it works like a charm! Damn, I hated that new version of yahoo's homepage. I would suggest complaining as much as you can. For some odd reason, there are people who like the new version, though I haven't personally met anyone yet who does. |

| reply to CUBS_FAN To me i think every one is trying to go to the latest fad the Vista look. and more flash content so that it is harder to block. BS if you ask me.
I hope all the Old people really start calling and complaing to whomever As they are the ones that are not used to change and find the new stuff hard to browse around Like »nbc5i.com you can no longer find a damn thing on that website. |

| reply to ptrowski F.W.I.W, I'm using the Open DNS servers. The past few days I only seen the new design maybe 2 out of the 20 times I visited Yahoo!'s home page. Last week almost every time I was redirected to »m.www.yahoo.com/ and this week I still get the old version. Weird.
Maybe there is issues people are complaining about and they are stopping the redirects. Unlike Comcast where the homepage was COMPLETELY replaced leaving 1000's of people complaining about their homepage not load properly. |
