Set Top Boxes Stop Displaying Time

I've changed my configuration a bit so that I turn my TV on and off but leave the box on at all times. This worked for a day or so, but then my boxes (which are set to display the time) locked onto the channel display instead. I checked the menu settings and they still said to display the time. Is this a bug or intentional? Is there anything I can do so that this doesn't happen?

One box is the HD-DVR and the other is the standard SD digital box.

I've been having the same issue for over a week now. Sometimes the time will stick, but it seems to revert back to the channel.

Yep, seems that I have to reset it every three days or so. I hate looking at it if I wake up and it says "8" or "102".

It's funny, but I have had the same issue lately with my SD STB (QIP-2500). I rebooted, and the front panel time display returned, but I'm not sure how long that will last.

And yes, I am certain my settings for the STB front panel display are setup to display the time rather than the channel.

I think this must be a bug. I will continue to monitor, and see if it goes away, or if any specific conditions cause the problem.

There was a thread on this last week. Seems to be happening every few days. New bugs are always fun.
