I upgraded to the 8560 from the 8300 as well. The reception is not as good for me either. I just attributed it to smaller size and lack of external antenna. I don't get many dropped calls, but I have had the "voicemail beep in with no call" issue happen on multiple occasions. I already sold my old 8300, so no going back... :-( |

| Yeah. my kids have my 8300 so no going back for me either. No way do they want to trade back.
I wonder if it is something with the phone or if it indeed does just not get as good a signal. I wonder if it just loses it sometimes and that's why it gets the voicemail beep?
If so then *maybe* it is a bug and will/could be fixed with a software/firmware upgrade. |
