My only complaint is that they all wear way too much makeup. But I guess when you're on tv you have to. Mind you you can say the same sometimes for some of the men on there.

Carolyn Waldo has been on CJOH, now CTV Ottawa, for more than 15 years. Yes, she won gold in synchro swimming, but she's not much of sportscaster/newscaster and, to my eye at least, not much in the way of eye candy either (although I could just be sick of her horse-smile).

None of them are pretty Unfortunately, none of them are pretty (except of course Mélissa Theuriau, but she's not Canadian). I can't put my finger on any beautiful Canadian news anchorette. There are plenty in Mexico and the US, and the rest of the world, but not really in Canada. |
