Re: Uverse Upload Speed

There were rumors that there will be an 18mb DOWNstream package coming out soon. Apparently they aren't rumors anymore... Upstream is still very limited; the RG can sync at 60+ mbps downstream but will never (at this point, anyway) sync at more than 2048 kbps upstream.

Sorry.

It can sync at higher then 2megs with pair bonding. Currently that sales person lied to you as stated. The max upload is 1.5 and will be for a bit. When/if pair bonding does come out I don't see them making it more then 2megs for upload.

Fascinating. They ought to just upgrade Max ($20 more for 4mbps seems steep), but I think I'd still probably jump on this if it were available.

Why do you think the RG is limited to 2048 up? The RG doesn't report max upload. People who have had techs look at their line have posted results from techs showing max upstreams of greater than 3mbps.

You're right, I was comparing the actual upload sync speed (2048) to the reported maximum downstream sync (60+.) That's not a fair or logical comparison.
