How to compress a 400MB MPEG to 10MB?

I have a 400MB MPEG that I would like to compress enough to upload to YouTube. What would be the best way to go about doing this?

That file you have there is large. You're only allowed 10 minutes if you want more you have to setup part1, part2 etc..
H.264 compress into MP4 these are really AVI just compress.
Formats MP4, MP2, MOV, FLV
320x240 is the size of the viewing you want also. You can also use 640x480 also for high quality videos.

Quality really isn't an issue. Are there any free applications that will allow to make the conversion to FLV?

Thanks.

Looking for Free FLV Converter it's was for Youtube stuff but it can also convert videos to FLV.

If you don't like that one there is one that uses FFMPEG codec it comes with it. More of script program you can find that on Pazera site..

The stuff does work though... Not fancy GUI but it works. There is another one also by AMAZE

I've use the AMAZE to pull down video off youtube it's okay not what I would use but it's for free.
