1 edit | Sure, but increased competition from AT&T will encourage Comcast to deploy Blast! and D3 in AT&T's service areas.
Here in LA, my other option is Time Warner's "Turbo" tier at 15/2. And it became 15/2 just recently, it's taken them a long time to upgrade from 10/1, and is still advertised as 10/1.
It would be nice to have a full 2mbps up, but 2mbps vs 1.5 is not a deal breaking difference to me. I do think AT&T needs to adjust their pricing a tad. TW's 15/2 is around $45 when bundled with TV and typical triple play discounts. $65 seems a bit steep, especially since it's shared with TV. AT&T is currently giving me a great deal on the TV part, so I'll probably still go for it though.
