This was pushed as broadband to the everyone

That's why it was continually pushed forward. Some people are obsessed with the idea that connecting everyone to the internet at high speeds will some how make them all smarter, richer people.

Same as everyone needs a house and everyone needs a college education. The Govt just keep pushing these ideas. In the end it always fails because the Govt simply has no mind for business.
