KCrimson posted : Its been available since mid-summer here in NYC, however I will not order it until my free perks from DirecTV have expired. In addition, I'm a fan of an out-of-market NFL team, and DirecTV still has Sunday Ticket - the only way to see those games on a weekly basis.
It would be an expensive proposition to keep DirecTV just for the NFL, and FiOS for the rest of TV as DirecTV will NOT sell Sunday Ticket ala carte - they force you to purchase AT LEAST the basic package along with it (about $40/month plus the NFL Sunday Ticket package). I might just do it depending on finances, my team's outlook next fall and whether FiOS's TV offerings are suitable to my own needs (and whether I have an HD set).
