Re: Westell 7500 verizon DSL + Vista will not connect wireless That happened to me once (though with a Motorola WAP). I finally figured out the reason. A long time earlier, I had setup MAC filtering on the WiFi network, but I had forgotten about it, so I hadn't entered the MAC address of the newly connected computer.
At that point I disabled MAC filtering completely, since all it was doing was causing me problems.
I don't know whether that could be your problem, but it might be worth checking.
