My build is 0/10/51. No real reason for it. Just like it and my guild encouraged me to be a mana battery.
I am sure its nothing amazing that totally unbuffed I was pushing 1k dps so easily. I was just spamming whatever was Not on CD and sadly noticed Arcane Shot now shares the CD Of Explosive shot.
To save my self frustration would the following work?
/castrandom Multishot, Explosive Shot, Arcane shot
I know that isnt a very CC friendly line up.

The way to find out is to just attack a dummy with it in there and without and see what the change is to your dps. Do it over a significant time, go all out for one mana bar and keep track of time. Then for the other. Provides two useful pieces of information on single targets, dps and how long you can sustain full dps.
Of course, these macros are kind of moot when you're levelling outside of instances. On normal kills what is more important is finding where kill speed is most efficient vs. resources used. There's no need to shoot at a raid rate. It's getting expensive to fill a quiver.  |

| well i have found that as a 51 SV hunter i can sustain constant DPS with never taking a mana pot. go til you get the low mana warning in aspect of the hawk and then switch to aspect of the viper and hit xplosive shot, arcane shot, auto shot and in about 3 seconds i am full mana again. then swich back to aspect of the hawk. so i always use my max DPS shot macro and now spam arcane, multi and explosive shot. since there is no clipping... wooooot wooooot.... |
