Re: [southeast] What's involved in switching back?

To your specific question, it's extremely hard to "go back" to copper once you're on FiOS...almost an act of god. I think you should press VZ to help fix the problem as you should not be having this issue. Try the Verizon Direct team here to see if they can help you get satisfaction.

Oh, that's not making me happy and it's certainly not what the Verizon reps said at the time they were closing the deal with me to switch to FIOS. (And, yes, the neighborhood still supports both Verizon FIOS and Verizon DSL.)

Quite frankly, that just makes me more determined to try to switch back as soon as possible.

Will check the Verizon Direct team here.

I am going to guess that you have called this issue in to the FSC? What did they say ? have you demaded a field tech come out?

Going back to copper is extremly hard to do.

Again, they didn't make that clear at all; indeed they indicated that it was a trivial matter to switch back if I was dissatisfied.

PoloDude,

Oops didn't directly answer your basic question. Presuming FSC is FIOS Support Center, I've talked with techs there on four or five occasions so far.
