I have two routers and have changed them while on the phone with cox support. <br><br>But I have little understanding why the Usenet connection would be different than other on-line services offered by Cox  direct or through the net safe router.  If the www service was as bad as the Usenet service has been for me and my neighbors the last 90 days cox subscribers would have revolted, and would be leaving Cox in droves if they were not in a monopolistic situation...<br><br>The only difference in a direct connection it is difficult to use a Linux operating system with the Cox phone support...  Cox Communications does not have the  skills nor do I have the ability to be helpful to a very good Linux specialist than can provide support a non-microsoft operating system on PC hardware.   <br><br>I am only a User that has found 64-bit Linux works well and seldom crashes. <description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/1101479"><b>namida12</b></A> : I  do Change the the address from east to west when this happens along with resetting the modem, restarting the computer and making a cup of tea or soup so I do not become angrier.<br><br>If you take the time to pick up the phone to be left on ignore while your anger simmers, to a boiling point and  then scream and yell at a level one tech, that is there to screen new computer users question, it    solves nothing.<br><br>But this Usenet problem is approaching a 100 days since  I started having these problems...
