4 Streams but only 2 HD

Will AT&T eventually permit more then 2 streams of HD to be recorded at a residence? With so many HD channels, competition in my home to record programs in HD at the same time is fierce.

The only good thing about TWC, each box can record 2 HD streams. More boxes = More HD streams you can record.

Anyone care to speculate if a price increase might accompany the additional functionality if/when it becomes available?

They haven't charged for adding a 2nd HD stream, THDVR or anything else. I highly doubt a charge would come for 3rd HD stream.

I'm assuming (perhaps incorrectly) that the 3rd HD stream would require pair bonding which is technically more hardware (copper pair and VRAD slot) versus just software changes for THDVR and 2nd HD stream.
I certainly hope you are correct.

Unless they increase the 25/2 profile. I can't imagine them charging for another copper pair or VRAD slot. If they truly want to compete against satellite or cable they can't charge for that.
