<description><![CDATA[ChiTang posted : Change the boot order in BIOS to boot from CD.<br><br>Put in the XP install CD and start the computer.<br><br>When prompt "press anykey to boot from CD", press any key.<br><br>After a few minutes, the first screen, press enter to install XP. (Not R to repair XP with recovery console).<br><br>Follow the instruction, and finally, you will end up in a screen that you enter R to repair XP installation. <br><br>Caution, the repair install option may not be available if the system has a higher service pack than the one in the CD. <description><![CDATA[St0ney posted : A few weeks ago, some virus/trojan/malware corrupted my userinit.exe file, and probably winlogon.exe file as well.<br>i believe my antivirus software must have quarantined/deleted it.<br><br>so when i turn on my computer and get to the logon screen, i try ot logon to my account and it will say "logging on..." but then immediately say "loggin of...", so i am unable to get to my desktop.<br><br>Same thing happens when i try to log in the guest account.<br><br>right now i am only able to get to desk top in safe mode.<br><br>How can i fix this problem?]]></description>
