Besides, I think I read that Comcast wants everyone upgraded to DOCSIS 3 by the end of 2010 so that's not too long of a wait. -- "Think for yourselves and let others enjoy the privilege to do so too." |

That's what I am hoping for, I live in a apartment complex sounded by a sea of FIOS. Franky I a bit jealous of and burned by Verizon. They can go to the devil if Comcast goes to DOCSIS 3. |

For the record, the first DOCSIS 3.0 launch was smack dab in the middle of the country, the Midwest, where Qwest is the ILEC.
I've been saying this all along.. how and where they launch is not always necessarily where Verizon has launched Fios. Its largely based on the rating of the systems itself and if the tech ops are capable of handling such a launch. The St. Paul system is a high B rated system, teetering on the verge of being an A system. (I say St Paul because the classic TWC/Paragon system, I don't think has been rated yet.) |
