I'll be downgrading for sure once my current promo rate that I got for adding CDV runs out. If I were to downgrade now I might end up paying more.
At least 8/2 customers who have been paying the same as Blast customers for a long time and getting 50% the DL speed will finally be treated equally! | |

kudos:4 | According to karls text. blast users are NOT going to 5mbps upload. although if its offered[probably only fios areas] you can upgrade to the new ultra tier. doesn't sound like a no additional cost move.

Customers on 8/2 pay the same you pay for 16/2, who was getting screwed before?  | |

But I find it odd that Performance and Performance Plus (previously Blast) tiers will now both have the same upload speed. Has this ever been the case?
Would it have been that much for Comcast to offer Performance Plus customers 3mbit upload!? | |

Kankakee, IL | in my area 8/2 doesnt pay the same as 16/2, if you have cable 16/2 is $67.95 and 8/2 is $52.95,without cable 16/2 pays $84.95 and 8/2 pays $62.95 pricing will be different in areas without fios competition, so from my end...16/2 customers will get screwed, almost worth to downgrade to 8/2 right now and wait for the free upgrade! | |
