My Linksys Cable modem is about 2 yrs old (docsis 2.0 compliant). Will I need to buy a new modem to get these newer speeds? Do the new, faster service speeds require docsis 3.0? If so, can my Linksys modem be upgraded (firmware) that will work with the faster speeds?
