Still Bad

Pete. I gave you the information you requested; However the connection remains at a pathetic level.

Those interested, google 100001_vm1.0_d.cfg... This is the configuration file your modem is given by Suddenlink.

This configuration file is LIMITED or CAPPED, bandwidth limited, by Suddenlink. Those who tell you otherwise are not qualified to tell you so.

Suddenlink agreed to drop my cost by $15/mo for the rest of the year after I called with all intention to cancel service.

The question: How much longer must we deal with BELOW-DSL speeds?

zONED -

WHO DID you talk to? (the locals in office here in EKA?) - Im here in Hydesville - and for a long while - we were having latency issues every night - I have been able to see some progress in that department for about a week - but now its happening again - I too pay for much more than I appear to be getting here in HUMBOLDT COUNTY CA, - Pete Please tell us they are working on keeping the fix going that had been working great until tonight - 10/21/08... I too am getting some slow speeds here again :{////

z0ned2 -- I'm sorry to hear that, but understand. Best of luck to you. I am confident the situation has and will continue to improve, so if DSL does not prove to your liking, I hope you'll reconsider us.
