Usually I am an NL supporter but this year I am going for the Rays. I love it when the low budget teams make it big.

Also, any team that defeats the Red Sox is automatically one of my favorite teams. Winning the World Series and pissing off all the douche nozzle Red Sox fans would be sweet.

game one was the key and it went as predicted. phillies in 6. phillies in 5 if jamie moyer wins game three. i dont really expect that to happen tho. ide love to see phillie win it in philadelphia. but we cant have it all. the big question is which bret myers shows up today. lights out if phillies wins tonight. how about that catch ryan howard made in the crowd. most players would have long given up on that. this phillies team has some real heart. i will give tampa a big thumbs up tho. one hell of a year you guys had. oh yea and dont expect phillie fans to let you come up here and reach into the crowd to catch the ball. you wont have a hand when it comes back out. no way to say enough about hammels and lidge. just unfckng believable how good they are. sorry world but phillies are winning it. my prediction is hammels gets 2 wins, myers at least one and then its who gets the 4 win. the 6th game will probably have myers on the mound for his possible first or second win. the story can be written after tonight. if the phillies win tonight the phillies win the series with hammels in game 5, if they lose tonight they win it with myers on the mound for a game 6 series win.

for all the people that didnt get the joy of whatching the phillies. which myers shows up has nothing to do with myers himself. the phillies just have trouble scoring any runs for him. if the phillies get up and score early expect to see a great pitcher. if it goes the way its been going all year the phillies bats faulter and you see a average pitcher. myers is much better then his record. myers likes to attack the batter. something you cant do when your behind.

Myers curve is key tonight,IMO, if he has that going the Rays will have another long night.

rody stop being such a homer. The Phillies don't have this in the bag at all. You have a major drop off after Cole. Myers is not as good as people have him to be. He is very overrated. Moyer doesn't even belong starting. If The Phillies can somehow win two games without Cole pitching then maybe they have a chance at winning the Series. The Rays starting pitching is a shitload times better than the Phillies. I hate to break it to you but STARTING PITCHING is what wins the World Series.

its still in the bag. the only dissapointment so far was dobbs. i predict 2 out of three in phillie goes to the phillies. phillies could sweep tho in phillie. the key game will be saturday and how moyer does. they could actually go down 2-1 before coming back and winning it.
