Re: [MLB] World Series 2008 i didnt get that wrong. i said it would be a perfect day. i never said it would happen. all the talk i only made one prediction and that was the phillies in 5 or 6. well my prediction was actually six. but i said 5 was a possibility. if im wrong its going to be wrong because the phillies win it in 5. very strong possibility at this time. just so you know i never even predicted tonights game. i wish the phillies luck but mondays game is the one i feel is in the bag. |

Ouch that's a HUGELY bad call. I'm more of a Braves fan, but did grow up in Philly and live in the area, so I'm rooting for the Phils, but that's a horrible (mis)call.

It's not over 'til it's over, but it definitely appears as though TB simply isn't seasoned enough to overcome the pressure. Philly is youngish too, but they are finding ways to win.
Plus the fact they're playing in Philly. I'm sure most of the TB team has never faced a crowd like we have here.
