Plumber or lack therof

I know this is slightly off topic, but, I can attest, earlier in my life between the ages of 18 and 26 I did plumbing work. I didn't have a license. That doesn't make you any less or more of a plumber, as long as your working for someone who does. Now I know how to install a water heater and so on, but if I were to do that today, on my own without a license, I would be in violation of most state laws. On a side note Obama basically played the 'class warfare' card the other day, when he asked a crowd: "Do you know any plumbers, making more than $250,000 a year?" As a matter of fact Obama I do. I worked for 2 of them, in Clarksville, Tn. Both small businesses, employing less than 10 people at a time might I add. On a side note most 'small businesses' in this country make more than $250,000 a year.

It's a nice change for the BS-aid shoved down our throat by Dubya and Co. for the last 8 years. Seem MUCH longer.

It must be one helluva badly piped town, constantly choking in full of shit if not one but 2 plumbers can make over 250k per year per plumber...

And amazingly your bosses shared their personal income with you, right? Yeah, sure I believe it.

Khm that's a "plumbing business", not a plumber.

How many plumbers do you know make that salary? We're talking about trade profession plumbing. Not business owners. Big difference. Also on a side note Joe makes about $40k and when he talks about owning his own business it was actually wishful thinking because he's nowhere near that right now.

True, but we are talking about a 3% increase in the current tax. What does that amount to? $1000 more in taxes (I read that somewhere. Anybody have some hard figures)? If that's the case I call it sour grapes for crying about what amounts to a .025% increase in your taxes.
