Regular comcast expanded basic (analog) with no interactive guides and many channels with ingress interference (at least in my area) cost 60 a month.. probably more now. With Dish network I have two TV's hooked to one receiver (VHF radio controlled romotes) with interactive guides and more channels then comcast expanded basic for around 8 dollars less a month (much better quality as well). Yes expanded basic tv with comcast is only a value if you have a ton of TV's hooked in. But if you only have one or two tv's its a waste of money. And if you want to talk about CC digital cable its not even remotely competitive price wise with dish network. Although, CC has wonderful promos. CC spends too much time disconnecting customers that have had their promos expire and then they see their bills rise dramatically. CC still has a large number of their subs on their basic tiers because their digital offerings are just too much. | |
