Have an hr22 hooked to my laptop using Intel core 2 duo processor and windows vista. Installed Tversity (very easy install) and did the network connect on the hr22. It worked first try. My wife is from Germany and I have a number of German TV stations streaming with a pretty good picture and very few problems. I also have streaming radio stations. My music from window media player works fine. Also stream youtube sites and pod casts. The only problem I have is with my pictures. They play fine and look good on by 52" LCD . However, the only way I can get them to play is using the shuffle function. I have thousands of photos in one sub-directory. So I guess I have to go through them all and make many sub-directories. I really like Tversity.
--
"People demand freedom of speech as a compensation for the freedom of thought which they seldom use."

I'd recommend H.264, with a maximum bitrate under 7 Mbps (probably best to stay closer to 5).
