Well we all knw VZW will never use GSM. They're already on the roll with EVDO rel A. And I think they're going to go LTE for the future.

Better be powered by a nuclear battery if you want to be running 2 cellphone modems at the same time.

It probably wouldn't be all that hard for them to have a software or hardware switch that toggles between the two different chips.
It'd do no good to have both running at the same time.
