| pathetic speeds on CT dsl I pay for 256/128 and my line tests consistently at 218-220 down, yet I can only ever d/l @ ~27K. CT's "service" says thats just the way it is. I say BS!!! if the line is capable of 220K why do I only see 27K?. I live in a rural area and was most recently told that I may be in the 'wrong part of the loop' to get what I want. I would like to have the full rate I pay for, but I understand if they can only deliver 75% as their corporate benchmark. Still, 27K is only roughly 10% of what I pay for or 13% of what the speed tests on the line tell me its capable of. Anyone else in the same boat, and what if anything did you do about it? |
