I think that is wise for general or gaming use. Given your attenuation, I think you are in a good place.

If you went to Elite, I would think that having them set up an interleaved profile could work, and give bigger downloading/uploading. So normally this is seen as an immediate increase in upload speed and a several step increase in download speeds if the ramp goes well.

About the only time people have failed to see the upload speed increase is when they have set their router to restrict upload speeds. Express speeds were good for my distance from CO, about 13,500'. The Pro speeds are much better download, but the upload speeds are virtually the same, not bad mind you but no improvement from Express.
Just curious, will this improve or do I need to post in the Direct forum to check for any problems?
By the way, the AT&T website is showing we're eligible for Elite, which really surprises me at this distance, with 50 year old copper line between the CO and us.
