the answer to this is an unlimited internet connection and free broadcast tv... and the cable companies know it, so eventually (like it or not), they will be willing to cut a deal.

Funny that. Actually, as the programming worth paying cable to watch continues to dwindle, OTA HDTV and DSL is looking really good. Cut the cable, free your wallet and your mind.
