Between a rock and hard place

I live in an apartment that has an exclusivity contract with Grande, and to top it off I have a zillion trees in front and behind me that I cannot purchase a dish and get service from another supplier.
I used Grande for over a year and had constant issues with their service from internet speeds being at times slower than dial up to satellite going off for repairs on their side. I also had a complaint that existed from the first day of install ... or should I say no install as they never installed my internet system as they said they would, rather their installation guy reported that nobody was home twice ....um...I work from home and waited for them which was a no show.
Anyway I installed it myself and it was fine, but they still charged me for install WTF!
I eventually discontinued the service due to many issues and the fact that I will not pay for services not rendered. That was two years ago and since then have been using AT&T for internet, and bunny ears for TV, as they spitefully disconnected my apartment from the main antennae thus I can not get even basic broadcast TV.

I tried to contact them two weeks ago to discuss this issue and they refused to even entertain the thought, and acknowledged that I have no option but them.

Is this even legal?

You live in an off-net property using DSL and Dish Network. These are not Grande products, they are just re-sold products. And those are contractors that come out to your property, not Grande technicians. Do some research.

DSL is a Grande product insofar that Grande owns/operates the network built by Advantex/CoServ after the acquisition thereof.
