I just bought a 4 cycle blower, I blew all the leaves on the lawn and will mow after the Bears game. Prob to work off my aggression at all those terrible red zone plays.

I spent a couple hours raking leaves today. It sucked, but now I can see my lawn again.

Just finished mowing the backyard and got rid of 85% of the leaves. Still have some on the trees but the bulk are gone.

Except when they're stuck to the bottom of your car and smouldering there from the engine heat and you think your car is overheating.

I only burnt for "recreational purposes" in a pit smaller than 3 feet...so the answer is yes. To be honest I didn't burn that much only enough so I could mulch the rest without leaving behind mud pits.
Nothing better than the smell of burning leaves... Brings back memories of long time gone... I look at your jpeg and I can smell em' ... ...

Was supposed to be sunny and a little warmer today. Did I sleep through that part?

I have that same leaf blower...I mostly use it for cleaning out the gutters. I have discovered it's teh perfect size for clearing birds nests out of bathroom fan vents. Just put it up to the hose in the bathroom and *poof* insta bird nest cannon outside.
This conjures up great pictures in my head! Something funny about taking a leaf blower into a bathroom then seeing a birds nest go shooting out of the vent outside.

my power came back on and our sump pump shot out a jet of water as it emptied it.

Finally looks like it's moving out. According to the map it should be gone by about 4pm. Finally!

Got my new pump. Went with this one...
A little more power than my 1/3 hp Rigid and I like that I can adjust where the switch goes and it's very easy to replace if needed with the pump on place. Hopefulle this one will last a while.

Just keeping my fingers crossed that I don't have a basement full of water when I get home.

I'll prob do the yard also, if my back yard hasn't turned into a pond. I prob also check the snow blower as well.

So far it's holding together. I have a tree that has those cigar leaves which the mower never gets it all. If the mower can get half the yard I'm fine with that.
