Does anyone know if NHL Network does their own broadcasts or is it a simulcast of the local regional sports networks? |

@verizon.net | Simulcast, carried in HD when available. |

PQ of the CBC broadcasts is terrific. |

»NHL Network - official word on channel assignments
Channel 87 SD - 587 HD (makes total sense) - they'll probably put NBA TV on 89/589
Part of Extreme HD package - or in the NY area, the Sports package. -- "ONE team - ONE city - ONE dream!!" |

I called customer service today and they had no clue nhl network was coming. The nhl site said the next few days I just hope Verizon don't put it off
Any clue as to what channels it will be sd&hd Let me just quote one of the comments Mr. Rabe left to his own blog:
"NHL Network will launch soon and be rolled out to FiOS TV subscribers on a market-by-market basis. It will be part of the FiOS TV Extreme HD package (SD channel 87/HD channel 587). If you live within the NY Metro area, the NHL Network will be part of the sports package.

That would give us a nice block of all 4 major league sports |

Eric" That sucks, why is it exactly that the NYC area has to pay more for these sports channels while everyone else gets them in the Extreme HD package? |

IMHO, it's not worth it since MSG gives me all that I need. |
