Finally started working in Buffalo as well. I had a call from V* yesterday at work and they said they re-pushed the channel or something like that, but I still had the Not Subscribed screen when I got home. About 30-45 minutes after that it was working. So I don't know what the problem was. |

No free CI HD channel here. -- "ONE team - ONE city - ONE dream!!" |

| reply to icemannyr1 1474 is now active for me, as of last night (and I do subscribe to Center Ice). Very nice picture! Especially considering how bad the SD feed is on the other games with CI. So, VHO 14 is now up and running with NHL Network, the HD feed for Center Ice, and I also noticed 850, the Encore HD channel is up.
Kudos to Verizon. It's nice to have a provider consistently improve their product. |

I was going to (had it with DTV), but I cannot stand to watch hockey in SD. I may add it at the half-season mark if they offer some type of discount. I wish they offered more HD CI channels; I'd jump on it in a minute. |

| reply to icemannyr1 I live in the VHO8 NNJ region and the only way I can get the NHL Network is if I pay $7.99/month for the "Sports" package, which comes with the World Fishing Network, a Spanish language soccer channel, the Tennis Channel, and two, count 'em, TWO (2) horse racing channels (!!&^%$(*!!@#$!!).
Why would I pay 8 bucks a month for the "Sports" package when I know I'm only going to watch the NHL Network and completely forget about the other worthless channels offered? FiOS has been great so far, but this has to be one of the only bone-head moves the provider has made.
If anyone out there feels my pain make your voice be heard!!! Let's petition for the NHL Network to be free in NNJ!!! |

| I feel your pain. I hate having to pay $7.99/month also, but IMO it's worth it for the NHL network. If you're a big hockey fan, that channel is well worth the price. Also, other areas have that channel included, but their price is higher. At least we have the choice of whether or not to order it. Also, if it's any consolation, Cablevision also charges extra for the NHL network. I'm just glad we finally got that channel. |

| reply to icemannyr1 What is the status regarding the other sports networks that were 'coming soon' including NBA TV, mentioned in the subject thread, and CBS College Sports, which I believe is already in some areas but not where I am (NNJ), and which I had not too long ago read a press release which promised it nationally on all FIOS systems by the end of this December? |

1 edit | NBA TV is set to roll in January. Can't comment on CBS CS - as we've had it here since 11/17
GeekGirl - if you read this - thought the NHL Net game last night w/ Vancouver looked AWESOME.
I love getting these Canadian feeds of games in HD. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!
CSN Philly had the Rangers / Sharks games in HD last night too - that caught me off guard - saw the promo during the Flyers' blitzing of the Caps. |

@verizon.net | reply to icemannyr1 JeepMatt, FiOS has an agreement for CBS CS HD. No one has that yet. If they don't add it soon (while basketball is still relevant), it'll be useless until CFB starts up again. |
