| reply to matcarl said by matcarl :Channel 87 is not part of the sports package, that's right next to NFL Network, they would have put it in the 300's, we shall see. All I'm doing is quoting what the guy from Verizon said about the channel placement. Someone else on here who seems to have inside knowledge of Fios said that NBA-TV would be on channels 89/589. Who knows. |

If you're in NY/NNJ, yes, you have to pay extra for the Sports Package; not so in other markets, where there isn't a "sports package" anymore (for new customers) and those channels are included in the Extreme HD package. |

@cisco.com | reply to icemannyr1 JeepMatt - you mentioned the 17th as the 'go live' date for NHL Network in your geography. Is that still accurate according to your sources? |

I wish it said that here in Pittsburgh Pa. We seem to always be behind here in the Pittsburgh area. We were the last to get the 1.6 update, so we'll probably be last to get the new channels as well. |

Just for the heck of it, I tuned to channel 576 before we got it and it said coming soon. Maybe a few days before we got it. |
