If you're in NY/NNJ, yes, you have to pay extra for the Sports Package; not so in other markets, where there isn't a "sports package" anymore (for new customers) and those channels are included in the Extreme HD package. |

We seem to always be behind here in the Pittsburgh area. We were the last to get the 1.6 update, so we'll probably be last to get the new channels as well. |

Just for the heck of it, I tuned to channel 576 before we got it and it said coming soon. Maybe a few days before we got it. |

Didn't notice that. Was it color bars then? If it was, it was live. Great channel, eh? 3 hours every 2 or 3 days it's something other than color bars. They should be paying Verizon to tie up the bandwith 24/7. |
