Especially when they intend to switch to an all fios FIBER network. It requires less maintenance then dsl and the regular copper network. SO long term they save on how many employees they need to keep the network up.

Golden, CO		 Nah. It's an all FiOS network. if you look back they've talked about running xDSL to rural areas instead of fiber :/
