| then you must be in an area where they have competition. we pay $35/month for 1.5/256 in places where they can get away with it because they are the only phone co and the only ISP then that can offer DSL...... they have no competition and they know it. I have friends getting 10mb service for what I pay for 1.5, but they live where there are competitors. |

Hummm ...  In my area CenturyHell offers an oversubscribed 1.5 Mbps DSL for $41.20 a month. It's like a time machine that takes you 15 years back with pocket loss and crappy customer service. |
