I just had cable video and internet installed last week.
The installer noticed high voltages but still the system worked with no issue. It worked for about a day, in which I think they had tweaked the tap outside. Now I have no signal to the modem.
They sent a tech out to replace the modem, which was not the problem.
Now they are going send another Tech out to check the RF again, which I have to wait another 2 days for. It is going to be at least a week to fix a service I have only used for a total of one day if that.

What is irritating is Brighthouse's use of contracting companies. Brighthouse --- is the money savings really that important over the fact that the organization between the groups SUCK, which pisses off your customers? Doesn't that COST you money in the end making you guys look like a bunch of Keystone Cop morons?!?!?

The Independent Contractors from Brighthouse really leave a lot to be desired. They came to my mothers to install the phone line. They had cat 5e strung along the top of the baseboard anchord in the drywall. They also went over the top of a doorway. This really looked terrible. I had to tear it down and retuck it between the bottom edge of the baseboard and the carpet.
I will be glad to see Bright House Tampabay go Union and then the scabs will not be so prevalent. |
