Re: I'm waiting for AT&T Wireless to announce the same. It's coming, but probably not in 2009. Femtocells aren't a top priority right now as ATT is in the midst of deciding a lot of issues- including capital cost reductions, layoffs, and when to kill off further 3g deployments and start deploying LTE.
They do have a manufacturer lined up to though, and it's not lost on them that they can generate $10~30 (whatever they decide) monthly for these devices. |
