| .... Centruy Tel is buying Embarq, not the other way around. and they are buying it for 5.8 billion in stock. Their will be a new name also. it is in the works that the current ceo of embarq is going to be downgraded and Glen Post will be the new CEO of the combined. Since Embarq has the plans of rolling out FTTP, this makes it clear who they where preparing for as it will bring IPTV to the plate in most places. |
