Re: wow Does it really matter? If CenturyTel does keep the CenturyTel name, they'll surely have to launch a public image campaign. (Even if they keep the Embarq name I wouldn't be surprised if they introduced a new logo to go with it) When Verizon introduced their new name out of nowhere without any history they wiped out two semi well-known names (Bell Atlantic and GTE), but today everyone knows who they are. Would it have made more sense to keep Bell Atlantic or GTE as the name? |
