Sure, it was actually in La Crosse, WI where you are. Never had good speeds, service was hit or miss. The local offices had no idea to handle simple billing inquiries, and phone supports was average at best.
I can elaborate too. Both areas in WI. My parents south of Sturgeon Bay and dealing with them trying to get a possible T1 installed near Luxemburg for a school.
1. Everything is overpriced. It was so frustrating..couldn't even get a 2nd line into the house because they wanted to charge us $45 for just a vanilla phone line. 2. The DSL tech didn't know what they were doing 3. Hell, they just got DSL in April. Couldn't even get it before 4. Lots of static on line. Was quite annoying even after the upgrades (but still better than some phone lines in Texas!) -- One never notices what has been done; one can only see what remains to be done. -Marie Curie
