Re: centurytel is horrible I can elaborate too. Both areas in WI. My parents south of Sturgeon Bay and dealing with them trying to get a possible T1 installed near Luxemburg for a school.
1. Everything is overpriced. It was so frustrating..couldn't even get a 2nd line into the house because they wanted to charge us $45 for just a vanilla phone line.
2. The DSL tech didn't know what they were doing
3. Hell, they just got DSL in April. Couldn't even get it before
4. Lots of static on line. Was quite annoying even after the upgrades (but still better than some phone lines in Texas!)
