I would have to say your comment has to rank up there for being completely ignorant. If you cannot even pay your bill on time for being billed in advance. What company would want you as a customer if they billed after the service was used. Sounds like you need to think about more than just your internet and get other things in order first.

not ignorant just poor, i now live paycheck to paycheck with my paydays not coresponding to my bills due date. either i pre pay for the month in advance, or risk getting disconnected every month. i have had DSL for 4 years.
