Covad IDSL MTU Setting

Does anyone know the ideal MTU for Covad IDSL with a Netopia router: »www.netopia.com/equipment/produc···ers.html

I have it set at 1500

 Are you using PPPoA or PPPoE to connect or is it DHCP?

MTU of 1500 is good for everything except some VPN and all PPPoE.
