[Internet] VPN question for Melbourne Brighthouse user

I currently us a WatchGuard X10e(Ethernet only) for my VPN to my office(X5500e). Currently using Verizon FIOS Static IP. Initially they set me up with Coax and their router and my firewall connected through the router didn't work so I had them switch the ONT outside to LAN/Ethernet and went direct to my X10e, presto, it worked.

I am now moving to Melbourne. My house there has a Bell South type ONT. I'm wondering if anyone out there can tell me if this ONT has a Ethernet option on it or if I have to stick with Coax coming in from the ONT if Brighthouse's modems can be set as a bridge? I'm hoping that if this is the case that my VPN can be established even if it is going out over coax, assuming the modem can be set as a bridge. Anyone out there have any information?

Thank you.
