Down in Chicago

Notification when calling says the whole Greater Chicago area is down. Does anyone have any more details? I cannot even ping my gateway so it seems big. Router failure I am guessing?

Well that was fixed pretty quickly. Under 4 hours... I was expecting at least 24 from the way their message sounded.
