| Xplornet Xtreme Package, Anyone have it? I am looking into xplornet to replace my awful ISP I use know Bell WiMAX service. I am looking into the 7 mbps service or the extreme and I was wondering if anyone has had any problem with its speed and how it handles online gaming. |

The good: I find it works really well - speed test.net always shows > 5 Mbps download and >2 Mbps upload (that's faster than the service promises). I play GTR2 online multiplayer racing sim and it works great.
The bad: I have had some intermitent connectivity issues that I had to resolve myself. Hard to get through to customer service and they ignored 3 e-mails.
I'd still recomend them as the ISP seems pretty reliable, at least south of Ottawa anyway. There are a lot of other posts re. xplornet that are pretty unfavorable though, so YMMV. |

So what is ping average and do you experience lots of lag. I am asking this because I am using Bell WiMAX and I hate their service. they tell me I can get up to 3mbps and i get 2mbps and upload of 100kbps it sucks. |
