Are TV prices getting hiked to subsidize free wifi..

We are not expecting you not to raise rates if those services cost more to offer, just be careful. Charging unjustifiably too much for TV will likely have people either dumping their service for a TV antennae or switching to the competitor (aka FIOS, DirecTV, Dish, etc.), or even going to the internet to watch TV as an alternative.

What bothers me is not everyone wants to use your free Wifi and certainly not people who don't use your internet service. If your going to offer more net, then raise the net, not the TV. I'm not looking for any of it to be raised, but if your going to raise your prices, raise the price of the specific service that costs more. If VOD costs more, then charge more separately for that.

In short, Cablevision- anger- to me, your handing TV subscribers the bill for more internet (as in free wifi) and if thats so, its not fair. Put this into play and I will be the first of many, im sure, to run right over to FIOS, forever.
