Even if they're not locked they will have very little expandability, probably USB 2 and maybe ethernet. |

They could buy the $399 netbook and then pay $60/month w/ a 2-year contract or they can buy the netbook with the internet built in and pay $60/month with a 2-year contract and get it for $100 or maybe even free.
